Sabaduri forest is located in Mtskheta-Mtianeti region and it’s part of Tbilisi National Park. Tbilisi National Park is the first national park in Georgia. It was established in 1973 and is located on the southern slopes of the main Caucasus ridge and on the slopes of their branches at an altitude of 600-1,700 m above sea level. Tourist infrastructure, picnic, fire pits and camping sites are arranged in Sabaduri forest. Information boards are also placed.
Sabaduri forest is very beautiful in all seasons of the year, but it is especially magical in fall and winter. The forest displays variety of colors, the smell of dried leaves and warm fall sun. This place is like a wonderland in winter. The snow-capped forest feels like a fairy-tale, with the icy splendor of winter. Silence, flufy snow, the rays of the sun reflected on the ice crystals and the mountains, leave visitors speechless.

How to get there
The best and only way to get there is by car. The ride should take 1 hour. The forest is located at 1300 metres above the sea level, so make sure to pick a few warm clothes with you.
