Christmas Decorations in Tbilisi

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze posted on his Facebook photos of the central streets of Tbilisi, decorated for the New Year celebrations.

Rustaveli avenue was decorated with glowing installations of the most famous landmarks of the world – from Big Ben and Taj Mahal to the Statue of Liberty.

The capital of Georgia celebrates the New Year under the slogan “Tbilisi – the city of solidarity”.

Traditionally, Georgians celebrate Orthodox Christmas which is on 7th of January.
